Ballett Schwerin is an international dance company with members from nine different nationalities, celebrated for its exceptional artistic diversity and technical excellence.

Their dance language is based on a solid classical technique enriched by neoclassical and contemporary influences. This combination allows the company to explore a wide range of artistic expressions. Their repertoire includes pieces by world-renowned choreographers as well as young up-and-coming talents.

Brazilian-born ballet director Jonathan dos Santos has worked with choreographers such as Hans van Manen, Hofesh Shechter, Mauro Bigonzetti, Marco Goecke, Itzik Galili, Nanine Linning, Cayetano Soto and Ohad Naharin during his dance career.

As a choreographer, he has already successfully created pieces for the ballet of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, the São Paulo Dance Company and the Gauthier Dance Company.
